Project Overview
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) planned a comprehensive redesign of the "UN Tourism" logo and their overall identity. This design concept was one of the fresh, contemporary looks proposed, reflecting the world today.
My Role & Contribution: Concept and Design
I was tasked by the creative director and senior designer to develop initial logo design concepts for this project. This particular design was one of the three final options sent to the client for final selection. The ethos of this project was about connecting people from around the world and bringing cultures together. My design concept involved taking the grid of a map, representing longitude and latitude, and twisting them to symbolize connection. Cropping the design into a circle represented the globe, aligning with the UNWTO theme, "Bringing the World Closer." Additionally, I assisted in developing the layout of the presentation, brand mockups, and taglines.
